Austin Medical Equipment carries an array of oxygen and medical equipment products for every adult and infant care need. We concentrate primarily on home patient care, but we are able to provide our service to nursing homes and other companies as well.

Austin serves West Central Florida, including Tampa, Sarasota, New Port Richey, Brooksville, and Clearwater, in the counties of Pinellas, Hillsborough, Hernando, Sarasota, and Pasco. We are also able to ship nationwide. We offer the fastest and most reliable delivery service to these areas on a daily and as needed basis. 24 hour emergency service is also available.

Here at Austin Medical Equipment, we carry a variety of products from the industry's top manufactures. We specialize in lightweight, portable oxygen systems utilizing the latest technologies in liquid oxygen and oxygen conservation devices.

Austin boasts of being one of the few companies offering transtracheal oxygen catheters. Complimenting our services, we offer visits by Registered Respiratory Therapists who instruct patients in the home on caring for their equipment and their health. Austin handles even the high end technical respiratory equipment such as ventilators, apnea monitors, CPAP, and BiPAP.

Have a repair or technical problem? Austin Medical employs certified technicians for all of our products, and we service these on site. We have on-site oxygen trans-filling systems for all of your oxygen refills.

History
Austin Medical Equipment (AKA Austin Respiratory Eqipment, Inc.) began in 1993 in Palm Harbor, Florida. Since then, Austin has grown to become a major competetitor in the home medical equipment and oxygen business. With a staff of 25 people, Austin has its corporate headquarters in Clearwater, and services Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Sarasota, and Hillsborough counties.

Austin Medical Equipment was one of the first companies to offer Transtracheal catheter systems, which allows oxygen tracheal patients to become more independent in their daily living. Other products offered range from scooters, lift-chairs, electric wheelchairs, liquid oxygen, and ventilators. Austin was the first independent medical company in Pinellas County to offer same day oxygen Trans filling of E cylinders for their patients.
